Amanda and Connor’s wedding day was exactly what you would hope a fall wedding will be — cozy, meaningful, full of love, with weather that was perfect. From their heartfelt ceremony at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church to the lively reception at Newcastle Town Hall, every moment reflected who they are as a couple: devoted, joyful, and deeply connected.


One of the sweetest details they shared with me on their big day was that they’d be bringing an old red truck to utilize during the portraits. As soon as Amanda and her family mentioned it, I knew we were going to have some serious fun with it — and we did! The truck wasn’t just a cool backdrop — it was personal, cool, and the perfect rustic touch to round out the beauty of the day. We made sure to carve out time during portraits to get creative with it, and those shots quickly became some of my favourites from the whole day. I loved the way their bridal party was able to be incorporated making the shot so dramatic and timeless.


The ceremony at the church was beautifully intimate. Amanda walked down the aisle glowing, with Connor waiting at the front — eyes full of emotion. You could feel the love and support surrounding them from family and friends as they exchanged vows and sealed their promise with a kiss.


Later that afternoon, the Newcastle Town Hall welcomed everyone for an evening of celebration. The historic charm of the space paired perfectly with their fall décor — warm jewel tones, cozy textures, and subtle rustic details. From heartfelt speeches to laughter-filled dances (including a Mama Mia themed special dance) the energy in the room was so full of joy.


We wrapped up the day with a few photos by the gazebo next to the hall, with the twinkly lights all around them it was a perfect reflection of who Amanda and Connor are: sentimental, adventurous, and completely in love.
